Meet Dr. Abby Pelletier, PT, DPT

Abby's Story
With a lifelong passion for athletics and movement, Abby brings a powerful blend of experience, discipline, and heart to every athlete and client she trains. A multi‑sport athlete from an early age, she competed in softball, basketball, field hockey, and track and field throughout high school before continuing her athletic career as a collegiate softball player. After graduation, she found her true competitive home in women’s semi‑professional football. As a proud member of the Boston Renegades, Abby has contributed to six national championships, including five consecutive titles, an achievement that shaped her understanding of elite performance, leadership, and resilience. She now continues her football career at the professional level as a member of the Tennessee Trojans, bringing her championship mindset and veteran experience to the field.
Off the field, Abby’s love for movement and learning continues to drive her. Whether she’s spending time with family, coaching football, reading, working out, playing volleyball, or experimenting in the kitchen, she brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm that fuel her athletic career. She thrives outdoors and believes deeply in the power of staying active in ways that feel joyful and sustainable.
Originally on a path to medical school with plans to become a surgeon, Abby’s journey shifted as she discovered her passion for physical therapy, specifically, helping people recover from injuries and prevent them altogether. She now holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and specializes in sports performance training and injury prevention, working with athletes who want to maximize their potential while training intelligently and safely. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is certified in Personal Training and Nutrition, allowing her to support clients with a truly holistic approach.
What drives Abby most is seeing people transform, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. She loves watching clients gain confidence, achieve goals they once doubted, and develop a genuine love for movement. Her mission as a physical therapist and coach is to promote lifelong wellness by being present, supportive, and mindful, and by delivering individualized, patient‑centered care that empowers every person she works with. Abby believes that every athlete and client brings unique strengths, stories, and potential to the table. Her philosophy centers on meeting people where they are, honoring their individuality, and helping them build the physical and mental resilience needed to thrive. She values smart training, intentional recovery, and the belief that progress is measured not only in performance, but in confidence, discipline, and joy.
